Overview

Responsibilities- Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on production equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, mechanical seals, laser alignment and other complex equipment.
- Maintain operations and surveillance of plant utilities and ancillary equipment, related control panels, and building control systems.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and determine corrective actions using technical manuals, schematics, and testing instruments.
- Monitor, calibrate, and maintain critical systems such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, mechanical seals, laser alignment and other complex equipment.
- Ensure compliance with CCOHS, CEC/NFC, and other safety regulations.
- Assist in developing preventive maintenance schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in on‑call rotation and respond to emergency maintenance issues.
- Operate forklifts, lifts, and other specialized equipment safely.
- A valid electrician license is strongly preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or associate degree a plus.
- Instrumentation and calibration experience considered an asset.
- Sound knowledge of manufacturing/industrial equipment.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in industrial or facilities maintenance, with expertise in one or more technical trades (e.g., welding, electrical, or mechanical).
- Strong problem‑solving and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Experience with welding, minor plumbing, refrigeration considered a plus.
- Proficiency with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Expected pay range: $42–$47 per hour, and Final date to receive applications:
