This part-time, temporary role is directed by the Clinical Manager, Counselling Programs. You will implement evidence-informed practices to assist parents facing diverse challenges, from managing stress to navigating family dynamics. Ensure program effectiveness through evaluation and referrals to necessary community services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver individualized coaching to address parental challenges
• Lead parenting workshops using FSO curricula
• Create inclusive environments encouraging parental engagement
• Track attendance and manage program documentation
• Provide connections to further community resources
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counselling, or comparable qualification
• Minimum of three years relevant experience in family support
• Expertise in facilitating parenting groups and workshops
• Solid understanding of trauma impacts on families
• Availability for evening work sessions
Facilitate growth and resilience in families, enhancing their parenting journey with evidence-based resources.
