About the Program: The Red Maple Residence (RMSR) is a highly specialized transitional reintegrative housing program supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and complex needs, including dual diagnosis, concurrent disorders, and significant behavioural challenges, who are transitioning from provincial correctional facilities and institutional settings back into the community.

About the role: We are seeking a highly experienced and resilient Coordinator, Reintegrative Housing who is energized by complexity and motivated to lead the continued evolution of this unique program. This role will provide leadership, stability, and direction within a dynamic, cross-sector environment, working collaboratively to further define and strengthen the program model at the intersection of reintegration, treatment, and developmental services.

The Coordinator, Reintegrative Housing at RMSR will play a critical role in advancing program development, strengthening team performance, and navigating the balance between reintegration and treatment-oriented supports.

As the successful candidate, you have:

  • Degree or Diploma in Developmental Services, Human Services, Psychology, or related field
  • Minimum 7+ years of leadership experience in the developmental services sector
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience managing an intensive support residence within the developmental services field
  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience supporting individuals with complex needs, behavioural challenges, mental health issues, and dual diagnosis
  • Strong working knowledge of SSPSIPDDA , including intrusive measures, rights restrictions, and Quality Assurance Measures (QAM)
  • Familiarity with cross-ministry environments and multi-funder accountability frameworks
  • Experience with behavioural intervention strategies and best practices
    • Additional Requirements
      • Ability to participate in on-call rotation
      • Valid Ontario Driver’s License
      • First Aid, CPR, and CPI certification (or willingness to obtain)
      • Ability to meet physical requirements of the role
