This role reports to the BTG Program Supervisor and involves developing trusting relationships with students, parents, and community partners. The Student Support Services Worker will manage individual case loads, deliver culturally appropriate programming, and play a crucial role in student success with both elementary and secondary students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver all aspects of BTG programming
• Develop and implement Student Success Plans
• Ensure safe, culturally appropriate program activities
• Monitor youth participants’ safety and well-being
• Oversee a case load of 20-25 clients throughout the year
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in a related field
• Minimum of two years' experience with youth
• Experience with Inuit and Aboriginal communities
• Knowledge of case management practices
• Fluency in Inuktitut is an asset
