Position: Social Worker for Jewish Family Services
Enhance lives as a Social Worker at Jewish Family Services of Ottawa, providing critical counselling from Noon to 8 PM. Conduct assessments, offer treatment, and support clients in a hybrid work environment.

In this position under the Director of The Walk-in Counselling Clinic, you'll deliver direct counselling and psychotherapy. Key responsibilities include cultural assessments and advocacy to facilitate client access to community services. You will collaborate with various professionals while ensuring evidence-based practices in your treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical counselling during walk-in hours

• Conduct culturally-appropriate assessments and treatment

• Facilitate referrals to community services

• Maintain client documentation and case records

• Participate in supervision and professional development

Requirements:

• M.S.W. or M.Ed. degree in Counselling

• Registration or in process with OCSWSSW or CRPO

• Experience in narrative counselling approaches

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client databases
