Position: Student Support Worker at Inuuqatigiit Centre
Empower Inuit students with Inuuqatigiit Centre in Ottawa as a Student Support Worker. Provide crucial advocacy and educational support for families to enhance student achievement.

Inuuqatigiit Centre is looking for a Student Support Worker to aid in delivering culturally responsive services. Under the supervision of the Manager of Education, you'll handle case management, monitor student progress, and facilitate communication between families and schools.

Your role directly supports the educational success of elementary and secondary students in Inuit communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer information and referrals for student supports

• Facilitate school integration and re-engagement services

• Support life skills and address social health factors

• Manage case responsibilities effectively

• Encourage engagement in school activities for youth

Requirements:

• Experience with Inuit or Indigenous communities

• Post-secondary education in relevant fields

• Strong communication skills in English

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team

• Criminal Reference Check required
