In the heart of the Violence Against Women initiative, your responsibilities include direct service to clients experiencing crises, advocating for their needs, and facilitating community resource access. Your contributions will allow women to build resilient lives free from violence, while you develop meaningful relationships with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide crisis support through various communication methods
• Accompany clients to vital appointments
• Facilitate access to housing and support documentation
• Empower women through action plan development
• Liaise with community organizations for advocacy
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
• Two years minimum experience in relevant sector
• Strong crisis intervention skills necessary
• Fluent in both English and French
• Driver's license and vehicle access required
