Bilingual Community Developer

This full-time, temporary role spans six months, focusing on aiding tenants with severe mental illnesses. Working closely with Salus’s Housing Coordinator and partners, you will foster community connections and support tenants' unique needs effectively. Your contribution is vital for creating positive living experiences for marginalized adults in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate recovery-based group programming for tenants
• Mediate tenant conflicts and resolve issues
• Provide individualized support enhancing tenant well-being
• Develop and maintain essential community partnerships
• Collaborate on intervention plans and circles of care
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or similar field
• Experience assisting marginalized adults with mental illness
• Knowledge of recovery and harm reduction principles
• Familiarity with Ottawa’s social service networks
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
