Hillel Lodge seeks a dedicated Recreation Assistant for a permanent role. You’ll deliver tailored recreational programs alongside the Therapeutic Recreation Supervisor to meet the diverse needs of residents. Collaboration with other departments and engaging with residents are crucial aspects of this role, allowing you to foster emotional and social connections within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support assessment and planning of resident-focused programs

• Monitor goals and promote resident independence

• Collaborate with departments for optimized care

• Maintain relationships with residents and families

• Conduct assessments during program delivery

Requirements:

• Preferred diploma or degree in Therapeutic Recreation

• Experience with elderly or vulnerable populations

• Strong interpersonal communication skills

• Knowledge of Welbi and Point Click Care

• Excellent verbal and written skills
