Key Responsibilities:
• Administer medication and perform detailed risk assessments
• Advocate for patients and promote educational initiatives
• Facilitate discharge planning and transitions to inpatient care
• Lead crisis interventions and implement de-escalation strategies
• Coordinate with community resources and mental health partners
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse certified by the Ontario College
• Preferred BScN or equivalent nursing education
• Experience in crisis intervention and mental health settings
• Certification in BCLS and non-violent crisis intervention
• Demonstrated skills in conducting nursing assessments
