Military Family Services Program Specialist

Enhance military families' support as a Military Family Services Program Specialist with CFMWS. This hybrid role focuses on project implementation, family support, and community engagement.

Under supervision from the Policy Development and Research Manager, you'll implement various initiatives aimed at easing military families through critical transitions. Your experience in family support and program delivery will be instrumental in increasing family access to essential services. This specialist role requires effective coordination and collaboration with the Military Family Services team to improve operational readiness and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Increase family access to essential services like child care

• Assist funding process by reviewing applications and eligibility

• Engage with other staff to foster support networks

• Review reports for accuracy and compliance

• Implement and track key initiatives as directed

Requirements:

• College diploma in related field or equivalent experience

• Experience in family support or social services

• Ability to develop and implement community programs

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Bilingual in English, advanced reading and writing
