Community Outreach Worker Evenings at Wabano

Wabano is seeking a compassionate Community Street Outreach Worker for evening shifts, dedicated to assisting those experiencing homelessness. Help clients access essential services and support with care.

As a full-time Community Street Outreach Worker, you will work from 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Your role includes providing support, building trust, and helping clients navigate housing and other community resources. Candidates should be comfortable in high-stress situations and committed to holistic, client-centered approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with individuals experiencing homelessness in various community settings

• Provide culturally based support for accessing vital services

• Conduct intake assessments to identify client needs

• Assist clients with documentation for housing applications

• Build relationships and distribute essential supplies to those in need

Requirements:

• Experience with vulnerable populations in outreach settings
