Position: Caseworker for Targeted Violence Support
Join the John Howard Society of Ottawa as a Caseworker, focusing on psychosocial support for targeted violence. This role emphasizes community engagement and evidence-informed interventions across Eastern Ontario.

In your role as a Knowledge Mobilization Caseworker, you will provide crucial support for individuals at risk of or involved in violence. With a dual focus on direct support and educational sessions, your efforts will foster safer communities through person-centered approaches. The position mandates travel throughout Eastern Ontario to deepen engagement and outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver responsive case management in community and institutional settings

• Create and facilitate impactful training for community partners

• Travel regularly to meet project goals and client needs

Requirements:

• Minimum two years' experience with at-risk populations

• Relevant degree or lived experience in social sciences

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Valid driver’s license for community work

• Proficient in English; additional languages preferred
