Social Worker at PQCHC

Position: Full-Time Social Worker at PQCHC
Provide essential mental health support as a Registered Social Worker at Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre in Ottawa, Ontario. Focus on trauma-informed, community-based interventions for diverse clients.

As part of the System Navigation Team, this full-time role encompasses comprehensive psychosocial assessments and brief therapy to individuals facing complicated mental and social challenges. You'll collaborate with various services to assist clients in achieving stability and access to necessary resources. This position emphasizes client-centered practices and community partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed psychosocial evaluations and care planning

• Offer strengths-based therapeutic services to clients

• Support clients in overcoming barriers to accessing services

• Coordinate care across community organizations

• Ensure accurate clinical documentation and reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work is mandatory

• Good standing registration with OCSWSSW

• Minimum three years in a relevant setting

• Expertise in trauma-informed care

• Strong advocacy and team collaboration skills
