Position: Full-Time Service Coordinator at WOCRC
Take on a vital role as a Service Coordinator at the Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre (WOCRC) focused on community engagement and support. This full-time position emphasizes empowering older adults and individuals with disabilities.

You will work within a dedicated multi-disciplinary team to assess client needs, coordinate essential services, and foster community connections. Your expertise will be pivotal in advocating for and facilitating access to services, crucial for promoting autonomy and well-being. This role supports a wide spectrum of community health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate client intakes and ongoing assessments for service eligibility

• Oversee coordination of Meals Delivery and other support services

• Maintain strong communication with clients and their families

• Engage with other community partners for comprehensive support

• Lead workshops and educational programs for the community

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field

• Minimum two years’ experience in social work or health services

• Must demonstrate client assessment and advocacy abilities

• Knowledge of service delivery systems in Ottawa

• Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle
