Join a dedicated team as a Program Officer, managing grants and fostering relationships in the arts community.
This role offers both regular and temporary full-time positions.
Reporting directly to the program manager, the Program Officer's primary responsibilities include overseeing grant delivery to artists and arts organizations while adhering to equity policies. You will assess applicant eligibility, participate in committees, and provide insights during peer assessments. Building strong relationships with the arts community and enhancing program outcomes are key components of your role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage grant delivery and funding for artists
• Respond to inquiries and conduct outreach activities
• Chair and participate in various committees
• Provide assessments for internal committees
• Ensure access for artists to Council programs
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience
• Five years of relevant experience in program management
• Knowledge of arts and culture sectors
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Bilingual in English and French at an intermediate level
