Inuuqatigiit Centre is hiring a Career Counsellor/Caseworker dedicated to aiding Inuit youth aged 12-17. This role encompasses developing tailored career plans, providing continuous case management, and delivering essential pre-employment support. You will liaise with educational institutions, community organizations, and employers to connect youth with opportunities that foster their growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create customized career and action plans for participants

• Manage ongoing casework with regular check-ins

• Administer career counselling to youth

• Guide on applications to colleges and apprenticeships

• Support transitions from education to workforce

Requirements:

• Two years’ experience in career development required

• Background in working with Inuit communities preferred

• Proficient communication skills in English

• Criminal Reference Check mandatory

• Medical certification and vaccination proof needed
