As a Program Assistant, you will play a vital role in the execution and setup of daily activities under the direction of supervising therapists. This role requires providing direct client care while maintaining safety protocols and logistics in community settings. The position requires flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute daily Recreation Therapy and ASD Respite activities
• Organize structured individual and group activities
• Maintain cleanliness of program spaces and equipment
• Assist clients with physical care and safety
• Document progress notes and manage client registrations
Requirements:
• Graduate from a relevant post-secondary program
• Two years of experience with children and youth
• Strong verbal communication skills with families
• Adaptable to changing operational schedules
• Valid Ontario driver’s license required
