Join Tungasuvvingat Inuit as an Assessment Coordinator who plays a key role in client intake and support. This full-time position is essential for delivering quality services to clients.

In this role, you will facilitate the client intake process, ensuring a seamless experience from initial interviews to treatment referrals. Collaborating with the Treatment Manager and clinical team, you will oversee all aspects of client intake at the Mamisarvik Healing Centre and ensure compliance with organizational policies. Your expertise in social work or human services will be crucial in addressing the unique needs of Inuit communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct client intake and assessments efficiently

• Support clients with application packages for treatment

• Create waitlists for prospective clients

• Collaborate with community partners for client support

• Update and maintain client files accurately

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in social work or related area

• Significant experience in human services sector

• Certified in relevant crisis intervention training

• Fluent in English;
Inuktitut is an asset

• Effective communication and organizational skills
