Position: Full Time Intervenor for Deafblind Support

Sensity, a respected non-profit, is seeking an Intervenor to join its dedicated team. You will empower individuals living with dual sensory impairments to thrive independently. This position includes full-time shifts consisting of afternoons, evenings, and weekends, promoting flexibility and a valuable experience in human services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support individuals in home and community settings

• Use communication techniques for effective information relay

• Empower clients in personal hygiene and meal preparation

• Provide necessary personal care and support

• Assist with individual goal development and documentation

Requirements:

• Completion of relevant diploma or certificate program

• Experience with developmental disabilities and mental health

• Proficiency in American Sign Language or Signed Exact English

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required

• Strong communication skills in English
