Position: Employment Services Coach at PQCHC
Empower individuals with barriers to employment as a Job Coach-Retention Specialist at Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre. This role focuses on creating inclusive workplaces and supporting client success in their careers.

As a regular full-time Job Coach-Retention Specialist, you will provide individualized client support and manage caseloads, ensuring that clients are engaged and achieving their employment goals. Collaborate with employers to establish accommodating work environments, and use your expertise to design effective training and support plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support to clients during employment

• Assess and negotiate workplace accommodations with employers

• Maintain accurate client records and documentation

• Work collaboratively in a case management team

• Monitor client progress and re-engage those not employed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or related discipline

• Minimum 3 years in employment counseling

• Effective client coaching and mentoring abilities

• Knowledge of employment-related legislation and trends

• Must have a valid driver’s license for travel
