Mitacs is looking for a full-time Advisor to join their team, facilitating partnerships between the University of Ottawa and industry. This role is critical in helping businesses leverage academic research for R&D advancements. Ideal candidates will have a Master’s or PhD and must be bilingual in English and French.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Mitacs Business Development and Programs teams

• Identify R&D needs of industry partners

• Advise on suitable academic collaboration opportunities

• Develop networks with regional industry and academia

• Support business development initiatives across Mitacs programs

Requirements:

• Master’s or PhD degree or equivalent experience

• Fluent in both English and French

• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills

• Enthusiastic and adaptable to changes

• Must have vehicle access
