Community Worker at Pinecrest-Queensway

Empower youth with Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre as a Community Worker. This full-time, temporary position focuses on facilitating programs that foster leadership and community engagement.

In this role, you will work closely with youth and partner organizations, crafting initiatives that develop essential skills. The ideal candidate brings a background in youth services and strong facilitation abilities. You will implement programming, outreach, and relationship-building efforts to support diverse community needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate programming and develop leadership skills in youth

• Conduct outreach activities identifying community needs

• Build partnerships to enhance community resources

• Implement conflict prevention strategies with supervision

Requirements:

• Degree in health or social services preferred

• Experience in group facilitation and program planning

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Fluency in English; other languages are assets

• Valid driver’s license is an asset
