OCSB is hiring a term Social Worker dedicated to enhancing the academic and social development of students. You will provide therapeutic support, consultation, and guidance to families while collaborating with educators and professionals. The role focuses on addressing the social-emotional challenges that affect student success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate referrals and ensure appropriate service alignment
• Perform psychosocial assessments with students
• Create intervention and safety plans collaboratively
• Conduct risk assessments and provide crisis support
• Consult with school staff on emotional needs of students
Requirements:
• Master of Social Work Degree
• Registered with Ontario College of Social Workers
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with families and trauma
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Commitment to professional learning and community resources
