Pathways to Independence is seeking four Casual Counsellors to provide essential assistance to adults facing brain injuries. As a Counsellor, you will craft and facilitate individualized support strategies in line with each client's Quality-of-Life plan (QLP). Collaborating with the client's support team, you will help build vital skills and foster independence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored support services to individuals with brain injuries
• Maintain accurate client documentation and records
• Foster a positive environment within the support team
• Resolve conflicts effectively while maintaining professionalism
• Advocate for client rights and needs
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in human services field
• Completion of an approved Pharmacology Course
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Experience working with adults with brain injuries
• Proficiency in documentation and communication
