Ross Video Test Automation Intern

Launch your career as a Test Automation Intern with Ross Video in Nepean, Ontario. This hybrid role involves developing automated testing solutions for industry-leading video technologies.

As part of the co-op program from September to May 2026, you will work closely with engineers and software developers to enhance the XPression product. Ideal for upper-level students, this role offers hands-on experience in writing code and developing test processes fundamental to the broadcasting industry's high-definition gear.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and run automated test scripts using various languages

• Collaborate with product teams on testing strategies

• Participate in software testing procedures, including stress testing

• Refine testing workflows and tools for efficiency

• Support documentation and reporting of testing results

Requirements:

• Currently in 3rd, 4th, or 5th year of study

• Proficiency in programming (Java, Python, etc.)

• Familiarity with automated testing tools (Jenkins, etc.)

• Experience with SQL databases and HTML5 is a plus

• Knowledge of video equipment is beneficial
