AI is seeking a skilled Applied AI Sr. Web Developer to design and implement Trend

AI’s new digital presence. You will be the architect of high‑performance, content‑rich web experiences that showcase our security innovations globally. Your role extends beyond coding: you will solve complex web challenges, mentor junior developers, champion AI‑enabled development, and act as a vital link between R&D, design, and business teams.

• Design and develop modular, high‑performance websites using Astro, React, and Type Script, ensuring scalability, accessibility, responsiveness, and global optimization.
• Influence AI software development practices by evaluating and implementing AI agents (e.g., Claude Code, Kiro, Git Hub Copilot) to accelerate delivery and maintain code quality.
• Mentor junior developers through code reviews, best practices in AI tool usage, component library customization, and fostering continuous technical growth.
• Contribute to content management workflow using Sanity to empower content creators while maintaining a seamless developer experience.
• Manage web infrastructure on AWS, including deployments via S3 and Cloud Front and utilizing Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK) for robust, reproducible environments.
• Own tasks from inception to completion, writing clean, efficient, maintainable code in Type Script, JavaScript, React, Web Components, Astro, or Next.js.
• Use ethical AI tools to enhance productivity, reducing time‑to‑market for complex security dashboards and tools.
• Set testing standards, lead a test‑driven approach with unit tests, and employ end‑to‑end frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright; use AI to construct comprehensive test suites.
• Proactively manage uncertainties, identify opportunities for architectural growth, and stay current with the modern front‑end ecosystem.

• Extensive experience building production‑grade websites with Astro, React, and Type Script, with deep understanding of web performance, SEO, GEO, and modern browser APIs.
• Proven experience using AI tools to enhance productivity and willingness to experiment with modern AI web technologies (Copilot Kit, AG‑UI protocol, AI SDKs).
• Proven experience with Headless CMS platforms; expertise with Sanity is a significant advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Tailwind CSS and experience building or maintaining design systems using component libraries like Preline, Flowbite, or Daisy
  
  UI.
• Experience with AWS services (S3, Cloud Front, IAM) and a solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK).
• Exceptional attention to detail, proactive problem‑solving, and a growth mindset.
• Bonus:
  Experience with localization/internationalization and accessibility (WCAG) best practices for modern websites; contributions to open‑source projects or a presence in the web development community.

• Competitive compensation ranging from $105,000 to $130,000 CAD annually, based on experience and qualifications.
