As a Geospatial Software Engineer, you will design and deliver reliable telemetry mapping systems that transform raw sensor data into intuitive, interactive visuals. This position requires proficiency in front-end visualization using JavaScript/Type Script and back-end processing with Python. You will tackle complex integration challenges while ensuring high-quality map surfaces and support for the Canadian Armed Forces.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain front-end visualizations and dashboards
• Implement back-end services and data pipelines in Python
• Design efficient telemetry storage and query patterns
• Create spatial analytics to highlight operator insights
• Ensure fault-tolerant integration between telemetry sources and maps
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years for senior or 2-4 years for mid-level experience
• Proficient in JavaScript/Type Script and Python
• Experience with low-latency data pipelines
• Collaborative, with field troubleshooting skills
