The Senate seeks two full-time developers in its Information Services Directorate. You will play a pivotal role in planning, designing, and developing various agile projects, ensuring continuous support and maintenance of essential systems. Collaborate closely with a Technical Team Lead, while adhering to industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop software solutions and integrate commercial systems
• Plan, design, and manage agile development projects
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for applications
• Report project progress regularly to the Technical Team Lead
• Ensure alignment with secure development best practices
Requirements:
• College degree in Information Technology or equivalent training
• Experience in programming and application maintenance
• Knowledge of Microsoft .NET (C#) and SQL Server
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry standards
Utilize your skills in software development and agile practices at the Senate of Canada to impact democratic processes.
