Position: Next Gen RTOS Developer at Wind River
Join Wind River's team in Kanata, ON, as a Member of Technical Staff focusing on next-gen RTOS development. Leverage your expertise in operating systems to create high-performance, secure solutions.

In this role, you will play a key part in developing components for Wind River's next generation real-time operating system (RTOS). With over eight years of experience in operating systems development, you will design and implement new capabilities while ensuring VxWorks’ core principles of security and reliability are maintained. Your programming skills, particularly in C, and your familiarity with agile methodologies will drive your contributions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop OS technologies for next-gen RTOS

• Deliver high-quality design, code, and tests in a CI/CD model

• Investigate and resolve product verification issues

• Create design documentation and conduct code reviews

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration

Requirements:

• 8+ years of OS development experience

• Strong understanding of OS concepts and kernel development

• Proficient in C, with knowledge of C++ and Python

• Experience with RTOS and low-level drivers

• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
