In your pivotal role within Telesat’s Scrum team, you’ll be vital in the design, implementation, and testing of software for the Light Speed network. Your expertise in embedded systems, low-level application services, and Agile frameworks will be key to your success. Collaborate across teams to maintain top-quality software components while supporting integration on Linux platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on software application design and testing

• Develop and maintain software using C++ and Python

• Implement networking solutions ensuring reliable communication

• Participate in code reviews and uphold quality standards

• Support integration of software components on Linux platforms

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline

• 3+ years in embedded software development

• 2+ years in modern C++ programming

• Understanding of L1/L2 networking and security protocols

• Commitment to a minimum of four onsite working days
