Position: Telesat Embedded Software Architect Role
Become a leader in advanced software systems at Telesat as an Embedded Software Architect. This role focuses on developing and implementing innovative ground segment software for satellite systems.

You will oversee the creation of embedded application software and ensure optimal functionality while collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams. As a seasoned professional, you will provide mentorship while ensuring adherence to TDD principles and addressing resource constraints in software design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement software solutions for satellite systems

• Collaborate on defining architecture and technical specifications

• Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering staff

• Drive innovation and maintain technical excellence

• Support MPLS/WAN/SD-WAN implementations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

• Over 10 years' experience in software development

• Skilled in programming languages: C++, Java, Python, or Power Shell

• Strong grasp of satellite technology and networking protocols

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software modeling tools
