Co-op​/Intern Software Developer, Core Algorithms

About the Team

This co‑op/internship is with the Core Algorithms Delivery Team focused on solving complex supply chain challenges faced by various industries including Life Sciences, High Tech, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Oil and Gas, and Automotive. You will be closely working with teams building features tailored to the needs of its industry, helping companies plan and deliver essential products more efficiently and reliably.

You’ll be part of a collaborative group that values clean code, thoughtful design, and real‑world impact; supported by experienced mentors and a culture that encourages learning and growth.

Hybrid position. Must be in the Ottawa office at least three days a week.

Full‑time, 8- or 12‑month position, starting September 2026.

Open to co‑ops and interns. Must be currently enrolled in full‑time education or be a recent/upcoming graduate within 12 months of the placement end date.

$27.04 – $39.66 hourly rate. Final offer within this range will reflect candidate’s skills, year of education, and experience.

• Work under the guidance of a dedicated mentor who will support your learning journey
• Collaborate with developers and testers on feature development and performance improvements
• Build and maintain tools for testing and debugging
• Participate in team discussions, share ideas, and learn from others

• Completion of at least 2nd year of studies in a Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent) program
• C++ programming experience preferred, willingness to expand knowledge
• Interest in object‑oriented design and software development best practices
• Strong technical aptitude, especially in algorithms and data structures
• A drive to improve performance and build efficient solutions
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Strong initiative and drive to get things done!
• Enthusiasm for working in an agile development environment
