Become a pivotal contributor to computer vision innovations at the NRC in Ottawa or Montréal. The CS-2 position balances telework with onsite collaboration to develop cutting-edge solutions.
The National Research Council is seeking a Computer Vision Research Associate to push the boundaries of 3D imaging and data visualization. You will translate advanced research into practical applications and engage with complex algorithms while interfacing software with hardware components.
Key Responsibilities:
• Translate computer vision research into software
• Develop and test software based on client needs
• Create low-level interfaces for sensors and hardware
• Analyze and modify algorithms for performance improvements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
• Hands-on experience with computer vision algorithms
• Proficient in programming languages: C/C++ and Python
• Background in GPU programming, especially CUDA
• Experience with software at client sites preferred
