This full-time position involves the critical task of shaping firmware architecture and establishing robust subsystems for distributed control in quantum applications. You will guide embedded technology decisions, mentor a tech team, and ensure scalability, performance, and reliability in firmware development. Your significant experience in embedded systems architecture will be instrumental in engineering high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead architectural definition for firmware systems
• Develop interface specifications for effective communication
• Assess microcontroller options and scheduling strategies
• Architect reusable firmware frameworks and abstraction layers
• Direct code reviews and uphold engineering standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in applicable engineering field
• 8+ years in embedded system design and at least 3 in leadership
• Expertise in C/C++ for complex embedded platforms
• Strong knowledge of ARM architecture and real-time systems
• Proven mentoring and leadership experience in engineering
