Ciena is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team in Ottawa, with a minimum of three days onsite.
Your role will involve testing software for next-gen Data Center solutions, ensuring top-notch quality for 10
Gbps PON technologies. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams while developing test cases and executing comprehensive testing plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review system requirements for project alignment
• Develop test plans and cases for software functionality
• Create and execute Python test scripts
• Collaborate with design teams on issue resolution
• Document test results and generate weekly status reports
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• Proficiency in Python scripting
• Understanding of L2/L3 networking principles
• Familiarity with Ixia and Spirent traffic generators
• Strong collaboration skills with multi-disciplinary teams
