In this role, you will design, develop, and support critical Java-based services for the Dalton team. You’ll leverage your 5+ years of backend experience, particularly with Spring Boot and AWS, to implement scalable, asynchronous systems. Collaborate with other engineers and mentor junior staff while participating in architectural discussions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build Java backend services with Spring Boot

• Own complex backend feature delivery from design to support

• Evolve event-driven systems using AWS messaging services

• Design, maintain RESTful APIs and integrations

• Review code for quality and provide mentoring support

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

• 5+ years in developing backend applications in Java

• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and AWS

• Strong SQL database knowledge and distributed systems understanding

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and on-call service support
