Position: Embedded Software Engineer for UAV Systems
Robotics Centre is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to advance unmanned aerial vehicle solutions in Kanata, Ontario. This position requires a solid foundation in robotics and real-time software systems.

In this senior role, you will leverage over a decade of experience to innovate and refine UAV software development. Your expertise will cover embedded software, autonomy, and ground control, helping propel the next generation of secure drone applications. Collaboration with engineers from diverse backgrounds will be key to achieving product goals and system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead end-to-end UAV software system development

• Define cohesive software architecture and integration points

• Develop reliable flight software maintaining performance

• Implement robust communication protocols for command control

• Debug systems during real-world testing and validation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Software Engineering, Robotics, or related

• 10+ years of relevant embedded software experience

• Strong skills in C/C++ for real-time applications

• Familiarity with sensor integration and system architectures

• Proven debugging capabilities in complex environments
