Position: Senior Drupal Consultant to support the design, implementation, and testing of an enterprise web application.
Reliability cleared Senior Drupal Consultant to support the design, implementation, and testing of an enterprise Drupal web application. The resource will support multilingual and multisite functionality using Drupal 10.
Responsibilities
Support the development and enhancement of enterprise Drupal web applications.Implement enterprise search solutions, including advanced search, left-side filters, expandable/collapsible filter groups, hierarchical filters, and pop-up-based search selectors.Develop and maintain Drupal custom modules, themes, and REST APIs using PHP, Twig, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Extend Drupal REST APIs to support custom entities.Configure and optimize Search API and SOLR for complex search and faceted filtering.Implement and enhance subscription services, including Email, Push Notifications, and SMS integrations.Integrate Drupal with Azure Notification Hubs and Azure Communication Services.Develop scripts and migration utilities to transition existing content to the new model.Collaborate with UX, Accessibility, Product, and Development teams to deliver scalable and user-friendly solutions.Participate in code reviews, deployments, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.Must-Have
Experience developing enterprise-scale Drupal 10/11 applications.Strong experience with PHP, Drupal custom modules, Twig, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Composer.Experience designing and consuming Drupal REST APIs and external integrations.Experience with Drupal content entities, custom fields, and data model extensions.Experience building and maintaining Drush commands and update scripts.Experience with Search API, faceted search, and SOLR integration.Experience with data migration and subscription management solutions.Strong problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.Assets
Experience with Azure Notification Hubs and Azure Communication Services.Experience implementing Email, SMS, and Push Notification solutions.Experience with WCAG accessibility requirements and Government of Canada web standardsExperience with SOLR.Remote opportunity
