Wind River is seeking a Senior Engineer in Ottawa to focus on Linux application development and Kubernetes. This pivotal role combines engineering skills with innovative cloud-native strategies.

As part of the engineering team, you will transform configuration management by implementing Kubernetes operators. This involves critical development tasks that enhance software reliability and performance through automation.

Your role will also engage with significant open-source initiatives and facilitate continuous improvements in cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design solutions for cloud and edge environments

• Create high-quality, scalable applications integrated with Kubernetes

• Troubleshoot and rectify issues in Linux application processes

• Participate actively in collaborative software development

• Enhance process monitoring and recovery strategies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related discipline

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience

• Exposure to technologies such as Kubernetes and Go is preferred

• Familiarity with automated testing and agile methodologies

• Strong problem-solving and communication capabilities
