Join NVIDIA as a Principal Systems Software Engineer, becoming part of the LPX System Software team that builds foundational software for innovative compute architectures. This position focuses on Rust to create reliable hardware abstraction layers and system libraries.
You will design and implement essential drivers, dedicate yourself to resolving complex runtime issues, and define practices for collaborating with AI coding agents. Your architectural insights will shape the components critical to successful platform execution and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design hardware abstraction layers and core system libraries
• Implement runtime and data movement pipelines for workloads
• Manage production-scale workload interfacing and monitoring
• Triage challenging sequencing and component failures
• Collaborate on hardware engineering and new board deployment
Requirements:
• MS in CS, CE, EE or similar field
• Minimum 12 years of production system software experience
• Proven Rust programming skills in systems software
• Familiarity with multi-repository code management
• Strong background in conducting reliability issue analyses
