In this position, you will collaborate with analysts and engineers to enhance GIS functionality through effective web application development. Your experience in geospatial software will be crucial for creating reliable, scalable applications and supporting infrastructure. This role demands strong problem-solving skills and a background in database design.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and optimize GIS-enabled web applications
• Design efficient database schemas and data models
• Consult on solution architecture and design
• Implement version control and branching strategies
• Deploy applications using Docker and similar technologies
Requirements:
• College diploma or degree in related fields
• At least 5 years in geospatial software development
• 3 years experience in Linux administration
• Minimum 2 years using Docker for deployments
• Experience creating technical documentation
