As an integral member of Ciena's Wave Logic Software Development team, you'll contribute to enhancing system performance across global networks. The role involves implementing software on embedded platforms with cross-functional collaboration. By employing your proficiency in C, C++, and Python, you will help solve critical performance issues and build effective diagnostic applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop software throughout the product life cycle

• Implement cross-platform solutions in embedded systems

• Design and debug applications and drivers

• Create test tools for enhanced engineering output

• Work closely with multidiscipline teams to launch software

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent

• 5+ years experience with Linux kernel

• Skilled with Docker and Yocto containers

• Demonstrated interest in advancing software technologies

• Familiarity with real-time operating systems is beneficial
