Radio Access Network System Developer

Ericsson Canada Inc. is seeking a Radio Access Network System Developer in Ottawa, ON. This role focuses on expanding 5G/6G technologies through innovative software and signal processing.

As part of the RAN Baseband System Management team, you will leverage your expertise in communications theory and digital signal processing. Key skills include a solid foundation in 5G , physical layer algorithms, and software development in C/C++. You will engage in performance analysis, system verification, and drive continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct systems studies in radio resource management

• Specify features, test cases, and algorithms

• Develop network-level software simulations

• Drive product and tool improvements

• Lead solution package studies and standardization efforts

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in relevant fields

• Background in digital signal processing

• Experience in 5G  communication systems

• Software skills in Java, C, C++

• Strong analytical and collaboration abilities
