Become a pivotal member of Solink as a Senior Software Engineer in Test (SDET) in Ottawa. This hybrid role focuses on designing test automation frameworks while enhancing system testability.
In this engineering-focused position, you will engage with the Device Management team, creating robust test automation tools for REST APIs, UI, and integrations. Your coding expertise in languages such as Python and Rust will help simulate thousands of IoT devices while advocating for quality throughout architecture discussions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain automated test frameworks and libraries

• Write production-quality code for device simulations and mocks

• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines

• Collaborate on system design with frontend and backend teams

• Own test estimation and planning during sprints
Requirements:

• 5+ years in software testing with coding skills

• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Rust or Java Script

• Experience with CI/CD and distributed systems

• Ability to participate in code reviews as a technical peer

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
