In this vital position, you'll work alongside engineers and designers to create and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
Your role involves simplifying onboarding for new team members and users alike. Reporting to the Principal Manager for Program and Delivery, you’ll ensure that technical communications meet the needs of a diverse audience at CNN.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and implement documentation strategies for CNN Digital
• Create user-friendly documentation that sets organizational standards
• Collaborate with full-stack development teams for accurate information
• Design onboarding resources for engineers, designers, and managers
• Simplify technical processes related to internal tools and workflows
Requirements:
• Requires over 3 years of software engineering experience
• Proven background in technical writing and documentation
• Proficient in JavaScript, Java, Python, and multiple languages
• Experience with tools like Confluence or Git Hub Wiki
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
