Leverage Tek is actively seeking a Drupal Developer / PHP Developer 4-month contract position with its Ottawa-based customer.

Work Location

Ottawa – the customer is open to remote candidates but would ideally like the successful candidate to be onsite once a week (Tuesdays) at the clients Ottawa Head Quarters

Key Tasks

• Develop, customize, and maintain websites using Drupal and PHP.
• Build custom Drupal modules and themes based on business requirements.
• Integrate third-party APIs, services, and data sources into Drupal applications.
• Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Drupal websites for performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other developers to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Follow coding standards and best practices, including version control (Git) and documentation.
• Stay up to date with the latest web technologies, Drupal updates, and industry trends.

Key Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10+ years as a Drupal / PHP Developer.
• Familiarity with Drupal’s architecture, APIs, and best practices

Other Qualifications

• Docker DDEV
  -or
  - Virtual Box and Red Hat flavours of Linux (we use Alma Linux specifically)
• Git and Git Hub CI/CD

• C# .Net
