As a Firmware Engineer at AMT, you will be at the forefront of developing embedded software for optical transceiver solutions. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to address challenges from concept through to volume production. Your expertise in low-level communication and debugging will be crucial in ensuring successful deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement firmware for optical transceivers
• Support software development life cycle from concept to delivery
• Interface with testing teams for effective validation
• Participate in hardware bring-up and code reviews
• Document design requirements and transfer knowledge
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering-related field
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in embedded systems
• Strong experience in C/C++ and debugging
• Understanding of communication protocols like I2C and SPI
• High proficiency in analytical tasks and troubleshooting
