AI Developer Co-op

Position: AI Developer Experience Co-op
Join Ericsson's innovative team in Ottawa as an AI Developer Experience Co-op. This role focuses on enhancing automated testing tools and workflows for 5G.

Scheduled for 8-16 months starting January 4, 2027, the co-op is suitable for students keen on AI and software engineering. You’ll develop automation tools and experiment with AI models to streamline testing processes while troubleshooting issues. Success in this role relies on both independent and collaborative work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop automated tools for 5G testing

• Experiment with AI for test case generation

• Improve testing workflows leveraging AI technologies

• Collaborate in 5G simulations and signal processing

• Address issues encountered during testing effectively

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in Computer Science or related field

• Understanding of 5G wireless protocols is an asset

• Programming experience in Java, Python, or C++

• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

• Availability for 40 hours per week
