* What You Will Do:

*** Develop production software
* Develop automated test cases to maintain legacy functionality
* Build development and troubleshooting tools leveraging ML/AI capabilities
* Troubleshoot and contribute to the resolution of issues identified during testing
* Perform software/hardware integration testing in the lab, both independently and collaboratively
* Conduct hands-on nodal verification of delivered functionality
* Review software designs and test plans
* Report on test results
** The Skills You Bring:
*** Currently enrolled in a

B.Sc. or M.Sc. program in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (minimum 2 years completed)
* Software development and debugging experience
* Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
* Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
* Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
* AI/ML knowledge or experience is an asset
* Basic knowledge of wireless communication standards is an asset
* Familiarity with embedded and/or real-time software is an asset
* Understanding of hardware building blocks is an asset
** Eligibility requirements:
*** 2.7+ GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent
* Uploading an unofficial copy of your transcript
* Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, master’s, or PhD on a full-time basis at a four-year college or university at the time of the co-op
* Be available to work 40 hours per week

The salary range for this position is:  Bachelors: $25.5/hr CAD - $34.5/hr CAD  Masters: $37/hr CAD
